With the return of the Pagan Gods to the world, many of their chosen or worthy have been exalted over common men. These exalts have the power of the Gods called charms. These charms allow the exalt to perform miracles beyond the ability of normal humans. The exalt may use any of their Pantheon’s charms provided they are of equal or greater rank than the power, they have the required Power Points called essence, and the power is listed in their chosen Pantheon.
Limit Break: The Gods are of both heroic deed and passions. So to be the people they have exalted to work their will upon Earth. The exalt’s limit is their Spirit die type, so an exalt with a d10 Spirit would have a Limit of 10. Anytime an exalt rolls a 1 on their Charm roll (regardless of the Wild Did) they must add points to their Limit Break. Once the number of points exceeds their Limit Break the character is over whelmed by his passions for a time. The Limit Break need not be enacted at the exact moment of it is exceeded but the exalt will succumb to the behavior shortly. The number of points collected is determined by the Rank of the Power used. See the lowing chart:
Rank Limit Points
Additionally, the character can gain limit points by acting against the virtue of their God. The number points ranges from 1 to 3 depending on the severity of the violation (1 point for relatively minor sins, 3 for heinous acts against the God virtue.
Example: Cord disciple of Thor allows himself to be silenced and intimidated by an opponent. The Game Master decides this is a moderate violation of Thor’s Virtue and Cord gains 2 Limit Points).
In addition to all of the powers bestowed to the exalted, they also become immune to disease and illness.
